Soolyman Sportfishing Charters is a Dubai based sportfishing company chartering out of Umm Sequim fishing port number two, next to the famous Burj Al Arab hotel, and is operated by three South African brothers who have a deep passion for fishing, diving, boating and the ocean.
Bobby, Darryn and Calvin Du Plessis have grown up on water and are a 4th generation of fishing crazy and spearfishing addicted brothers having dived the majority of the rugged South African coastline. The three brothers have fished and dived the productive waters of the Arabian Gulf for the last 7 years and they have built up a vast amount of knowledge and waypoints over the years. And it is this experience that allows the anglers to encounter good fish from a variety of areas, and which months and areas, produce the many species of gamefish to be enjoyed offshore.
Out of Dubai, our main species that we target are King Mackeral, Cobia, Trevally, Queenfish, Bonito, Grouper and an abundance of ever presant Barracuda. While out of Fujeirah or Dibba on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates and only one and a half hours drive by road from Dubai, the angler can encounter Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado and the occasional Marlin.
